The Habitat Escapes Travel Pledge

  • If you are planning to arrive between 14th May 2020 and 30th June 2020, contact us now to rearrange your booking FREE OF CHARGE within the same property to another date within 12 MONTHS of your original booking Terms and Conditions apply.
  • PAY ONLY A 10% DEPOSIT on new bookings and pay NOTHING FURTHER UNTIL FOUR WEEKS before your arrival. Valid on new bookings from 13th April 2020 until further notice. Terms and conditions apply.

As you will all be aware from the Government’s announcement, we now need to move to the next stage of implementing measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The strict new measures in place until further notice, dictate that people should only leave their homes for one of four reasons:

  1. Shopping for basic necessities such as food and medicine. Shopping trips should be as infrequent as possible.
  2. One form of exercise a day such as a run, walk or cycle. This should be done alone or only with people you live with.
  3. Any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person. This includes moving children under the age of 18 between their parents’ homes, where applicable. Key workers or those with children identified as vulnerable can continue to take their children to school.
  4. Travelling to and from work, but only where work absolutely cannot be done from home.

Whilst this is of course frustrating, it’s the right thing to do and we should be proud we’re all doing our bit to delay the spread, protect the NHS and ultimately save lives.

We therefore cannot accept new arrivals at Silverlake or Lower Mill Estate at present and facilities at both estates are currently closed until further notice. Any existing guests will be asked to act in accordance with Government guidelines regarding social distancing.

These measures will be in place until further notice and will be reviewed in line with subsequent Government advice.

Is my holiday going to take place?

Our estates are currently closed pending further governmental guidance, we will reassess this and update you accordingly via our website and database.

I am due to travel this Summer; how will this affect my holiday?

We have suspended new arrivals at our estates until further notice. We will continue to monitor Government advice and will endeavour to advise you as early as possible of any further changes that may affect you.

Can I move my booking?

Yes, of course. We are offering our guests the opportunity to rearrange their breaks for up to twelve months from the original booking date free of charge*.

Can I still book a holiday?

Yes, we are still taking bookings at Lower Mill Estate and Silverlake for future summer, winter and 2021 dates. We will continue to monitor Government guidelines on travel.

Can I get a refund?

We’re offering a range of flexible options and will assess each booking on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you require further information.
