Tawny House is a substantial and spacious property accommodating 10 guests, set within a quiet, private gated area within Lower Mill with the added benefit of exclusive use of a mini spa shared by just 9 homes with a heated outdoor pool, as well as full use of the onsite family spa. Finished to a high standard the property offers spacious ground floor accommodation. On the first floor there is a master en-suite bedroom with a super-king sized bed, fitted wardrobe, balcony and TV and also three double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, two of which have balconies. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with a king sized bed, adjoining bathroom and extensive views over the lagoon.
The property does not have a BBQ.
A contemporary-style kitchen with high-gloss units and contrasting wood effect units make for a clean and modern feel. Well-fitted kitchen with Neff double oven, warming drawer, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Bosch microwave and Miele wine fridge complimented by quartz work tops incorporating a breakfast bar. Opens onto the spacious lounge with separate dining area, both enjoying wonderful views of the lagoon.
Living area with ample sitting arrangements comprising three sofas and two tub chairs, and wood-burning stove for the cosy nights in whilst watching the wall-mounted 55” TV with DVD and Roku streaming stick. Full-width sliding glazed doors provide access to the terrace from both the living and dining area with garden furniture for al fresco dining whilst taking in the stunning views across the lagoon. Spacious dining area with formal dining table for six and further table seating four. (For 2022 the dining area will have a large 10 seat oak dining table and chairs) Selection of books and board games for children and adults.
The first floor provides a spacious master superking bedroom with TV, ample wardrobes and en-suite shower room. Access leading to private balcony with bistro table to sit and relax whilst enjoying views across the lagoon. Three further double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, two with balconies. To the second floor can be found a large suite comprising spacious king sized bedroom with adjacent bathroom. There is a utility room accessed from the bathroom with a Miele washer/dryer and drying area.
The property is accessed via a footbridge leading to a covered loggia, with the main garden to the rear, which is separated by a small waterway, with second garden area leading to the shoreline of Somerford lagoon.
