Festive fun at Lower Mill Estate this Christmas
Start the celebration early with our festivities this winter. From seasonal specials and gingerbread houses to an outdoor carol concert, we’ve got something for everyone this season.
For the children
We’ll be hosting a gingerbread decorating workshop at Ballihoo on Tuesday 21st December from 1500 - 1700. Join us for an afternoon of fun and delicious treats! All the gingerbread pieces are hand-baked by our chefs and there will be an array of coloured icing, sweets and treats to choose from, to decorate your own house. If you can’t join us but would like to order a kit for collection, please send an email to msiadatan@habitatfirstgroup.com.
Please be aware that this event is limited to a maximum of 40 participants. Tickets are £10 per person and one kit will be provided per ticket.
For the family
Come and join us for a special, outdoor Christmas Carol concert on Thursday 23rd December. Carols start at 1830 and run until 2030, so wrap up warm and join us to welcome Highworth Silver Band for a traditional, festive sing-along. Keep toasty by the fire pit and enjoy a roasted baked potato with a glass of mulled wine or Ballihoo’s delicious hot chocolate.
Food will be £12 per adult and £6 per child under eight years old, which will be payable on the day at Ballihoo. Price includes a fire-roasted baked potato* with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate.

For the big day
Not forgetting the main event itself, Ballihoo has its ever-popular Christmas Lunch boxes available for pre-order. Meat is sourced from the prestigious Jesse Smith’s based locally in Cirencester, who pride themselves on sourcing premium livestock from local farms, accompanied by a selection of delicious ready to roast vegetables from the Ballihoo allotment.
All you need to do is complete an order form and email msiadatan@habitatfirstgroup.com before Friday 17th December. Your box will then be ready and waiting to collect from Ballihoo on Christmas eve. While you’re there, why not treat yourself to a delicious glass of mulled wine or cider by the roaring log fire, to get you in the Christmas spirit.
