Absolutely beautiful property in a great location. Lovely decor, well stocked kitchen. Really appreciated the welcome pack and bottle of Prosecco on arrival. A couple of small points on the property upkeep 1) there was a problem with the kitchen tap. I reported it and the maintenance person (who was absolutely lovely) came very quickly and did a running repair, saying it would be replaced at some point. 2) the shared bathroom shower was really blocked with hair and almost flooded on the first use. I didn’t bother reporting this as we just cleared the hair out and resolved the issue. 3) there were lots of cobwebs on the outside deck when we arrived. Again didn’t bother reporting this. We just cleaned it with the cleaning utensils available in the villa. But it might be worth mentioning this to the cleaning team. 4) one of our guests was allergic to feathers. She actually found it quite difficult as most of the bedding is feather filled and the sofas also. We did manage, but it might be handy to have some alternative non-feather pillows and duvets available and maybe mentioning this on the website about the sofas, etc. 5) we used the cooker for the first time on the third or fourth night of being there. The bottom left oven didn’t work ( reported ) and and a couple of the hob rings were difficult to light. It might need a service. Please don’t take these points as negative. We had the best week and absolutely loved staying at the barn now.

Great complex. Lots to do and everywhere very clean. Didn’t think Summer party at Ballihoo was worth the money though!
