As you step into the realm of Lake Lodge, the adventure begins at the very entrance. Imagine a wall adorned with bike racks, whispering tales of lakeside exploration, and at the doorstep, boot racks stand ready, guiding you into a world of lakeside living.
The journey unfolds on the ground floor entering through the boot room, a sanctuary of minimalist organization, inviting you to shed the cares of the outside world.
Beyond the boot room you will find ‘The Den’, a vibrant convergence of recreation and relaxation. Feel the pulse quicken as you play a match on the full-size football table, bask in natural light on the comfy sofa, and close the curtains to relax with a touch of entertainment on the wall mounted TV.
Adjacent to ‘The Den’, discover a sunlit king bedroom, an oasis of tranquility with built-in robes and a glass sliding door opening onto a large over-water deck. Further delights await at the back of this floor, where a king bedroom shares the first-floor veranda. Featuring its own ensuite shower room, built-in-robes and a glass sliding door joining the intimate outdoor extension of the first floor where morning brews and breath taking lake views can be enjoyed.
Climb to the pinnacle of Lake Lodge on the second floor, where a scenic bird’s eye view of Howells Mere awaits. An open-plan lounge with wall mounted TV, dining table for eight, and kitchen area seamlessly connect, creating an ideal space for unforgettable gatherings. Went to the Ballioo. Always lovely in there and the manager is very thoughtful and lovely but this year the cocktails were disappointing - not much choice, when I think they could have had 'obvious ones' like Mojitos for example. I recall that 2 years ago the cocktail menu was much better. Didn't taste much alcohol in them either for the price - £12.
