Description

Swillbrook is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) so you will enjoy uninterrupted views over the lake as there are no water sports allowed. Completed in Summer 2017, this is one of our most popular house types offering three ground floor bedrooms, two bathrooms, and first floor living/dining benefitting from fully glazed rear elevations which provide stunning views.  

There is a fully fitted kitchen and on the second-floor mezzanine, you will find a master bedroom suite which is open plan to the living area below. The property is within a 5-minute walk of both the Restaurant and Spa facility. The owners have taken great care over the internal furnishings and have ensured a high level of fixtures and fittings with oak flooring to the main living areas and carpets to bedrooms.

For the comfort of all guests, pets are not allowed in this property. Failure to comply will lead to you being asked to leave the property and a loss of your security deposit.

Ground floor

There is a lakeside king ensuite bedroom and a second lakeside twin ensuite bedroom each with access to the ground floor deck.

There is a further twin room and family bathroom with a double shower, WC, and wash hand basin.

First Floor

The kitchen provides a single oven with gas hob, tall fridge/freezer, washer/dryer & microwave. Fully equipped to accommodate 8 guests. There is a dining area with a table and chairs for eight guests.

The living area offers a comfortable seating arrangement to accommodate 8 guests featuring a wood-burning stove. There is also a TV and sliding doors leading to the westerly-facing balcony with a small bistro table and chairs.

Also on the first floor, there is a snug with a wall-mounted TV.

Second Floor

Here you will find the open-plan mezzanine king bedroom with an ensuite shower room. This bedroom overlooks the lounge downstairs which also means it benefits from great views over Swillbrook Lake. However, there are no curtains or blinds on this lounge and view side of the mezzanine bedroom. 

Outside

On the ground floor decking, you will find a charcoal BBQ, garden table, and chairs seating 8 guests.

House & Estate Rules:   

 

  • Quiet hours are observed after 11pm, we aim to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for all residents and guests. 
  • Hen and stag parties, including any related activities, are not allowed on the estate premises
  • Work related stays for any purpose are not permitted on the estate
  • All our properties are non-smoking.
  • Upon departure, kindly ensure that the premises are left in a clean and orderly manner, with all furniture returned to its original position and rubbish removed. There are bin stores located around the estate.
  • A £500 refundable damage deposit is due the week before your arrival. You will be contacted regarding this.
  • Please utilise the one parking space provided at the property. Additional parking is available at the main car park if needed. Please do not park in the bays assigned to other properties.
  • This property is not pet friendly.

    Spa was a little cold and limited with the booking system. Didn’t really use the activity centre but it looked very well stocked. The restaurant was a little slow even with not that many people inside and a slightly disappointing kids menu. That said, servers were lovely and we had a great time overall - and would love to come back.

    Spa was a great bonus, loved the outdoor pool. Restaurant was great and even though it was busy the staff were working hard to make sure everyone’s needs were met. Great service from the activity hub and staff all very helpful. A very enjoyable stay!
