Thames Rest is one of just a handful of properties within Mill Village that has exclusive access to the onsite spa facilities.
Upon arrival at Thames Rest, you are welcomed into a quaint hallway, that is perfect for removing shoes and coats, which can be conveniently stored in the adjoining spacious cloakroom. The cloakroom also benefits from a WC and houses the boiler.
The boiler is a sustainable carbon neutral biomass boiler and runs solely on wood pellets. On occasion, guests may need to top up the boiler with wood pellets. There are full instructions within the property on how to do this.
From the hallway, you step into an open-plan living and dining area, an ideal space for families to gather. The living area features a wood burner, comfortable sofas and a television. The dining area opens up to a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing family meals.
Heading up the stairs, you'll find the first of four decadent bedrooms, with the king bedroom overlooking the front of the property. This room features an en-suite shower room, a built-in wardrobe, and a balcony.
Along the landing, the next two bedrooms are identical, each furnished with bunk beds, with the family bathroom directly opposite.
At the end of the landing, you'll find the fourth bedroom, which overlooks the back decking area. This king room includes an en-suite shower room and features a small balcony, perfect for admiring the surrounding countryside.
Stepping out onto the decking, you will enter a tranquil and secluded haven surrounded by trees, shrubs, and plants. The spacious decking provides ample seating and features a BBQ for outdoor dining.
The property has an outdoor tap perfect for washing off your dog following scenic Cotswold dog walks.
Please make sure to read the estates full rules and regulations before booking here.
The nature hub is very nice. Spa is excellent and the pool as well. You can stroll around. There are swings for kids as well next to the restaurant. You can sit for lunch dinner or for a drink while the kids are playing. The place is very safe.

Great walks, kids loved at as well on bikes and scooters, and loved looking for the Easter eggs. Restaurant food was lovely, even though we had to have takeaway boxes as our grandson broke his arm very badly..surgery for four hours…so a sad end to the break.
