The ground floor has a modern design with an open plan kitchen, dining and living room, featuring a beautiful wood burning stove for cosy nights. The living room has large French doors that open onto the outside terrace, a Smart TV and a large Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a breakfast bar, built in dishwasher and fridge, with a Nespresso coffee machine and a large variety of all necessary utensils. The dining room has seating for four people. There is also a downstairs toilet next to the kitchen.
The first floor has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite with a shower and there is a second bathroom with a bath tub. Both bedrooms open onto the upstairs balcony that runs the length of the house, offering a limited view of the lake.
There is a charcoal BBQ for Alfresco dining positioned on the decking.
Wakeling Island is a brand new addition to Silverlake and Habitat Escapes! As such, there are still properties and areas of the island that are undergoing final elements of construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, it is possible that you may see construction, machinery and workers on or around the island between 0730 and 1600, Monday to Friday.
We do not envisage that this will be too disruptive to your stay at Silverlake, but please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. Habitat Escapes and the Silverlake team will be doing all we can to ensure any disturbances are kept to a minimum. Onsite access to water sports equipment and bikes are only available to guests staying at properties with an ‘Activity Hub Membership’. These properties are marked with a canoe symbol on our properties page and have details listed in the overview. At this time, casual hire of equipment is not available onsite, however guests may bring their own
