The Hideout is located on the water's edge of Minety Lake giving you beautiful views of the surrounding lake and the wildlife that calls it home. The homeowners have taken great care in designing and furnishing this property so that holiday goers are able to make the most of their stay. You will be located a short 5-10 minute walk from the center at Lower Mill where you will be able to enjoy access to Lower Mill's award-winning, tranquil spa, exclusively for guests and residents of Lower Mill.
The Hideout will only be accepting weekend bookings until the end of February. From March 2023 onwards the property can be booked for mid-week and week holidays as well.
Minety Lake is a brand new addition to Lower Mill and Habitat Escapes! As such, there are still properties and areas of the island and wider estate that are undergoing final elements of construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, you will see construction, machinery, and workers on or around the island between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please abide by any signage relating to construction areas. Please review the above images to make sure you are aware of the surrounding construction of Minety Lake 44.

The Hideout benefits from a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens up onto fantastic views of Minety Lake.
The kitchen and dining area have a modern feel to them and are kitted out with all the cooking utensils you will need to make the most of your time at the property. Within arm's length of the lovely wooden dining table, you will find a drinks cabinet perfect for storing and topping up your refreshments.
The seating area and TV are positioned overlooking the water giving you the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the lake. The lounge is also home to a log fire so during those winter months you can gather around to enjoy its warmth while sitting cosily around the TV, after a day of exploring the vast Cotswold countryside.
The first of the property's four bedrooms is found on the ground floor, in the photos it is shown as a single bedroom but this can be made up as a double on request.
Here you will find the further three bedrooms, the first of which is the master double bedroom overlooking the front of the property. This bedroom is ensuite with a shower.
There is a second double bedroom on the first floor as well as a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
The first floor has a staircase leading up to the property's roof terrace which gives you fantastic views over Minety Lake. This roof terrace is one of the standout features of the property with it being home to a rooftop hot tub and seating area making it the perfect spot for your friends and family to hang out and relax.
As we take pride in prepping the hot tub for each guest stay the water may not be up to temperature by the time you arrive on site, but rest assured, that the water will be blissfully warm and enjoyable for your second night with us.
Bath, hand, and tea towels are provided as well as bed linen, bin liners, and dishwasher tablets.
The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery

Please be aware that the vegetation surrounding the property is subject to change according to the time of year. This may mean that the views represented in the photos above may vary depending on the season in which you stay with us.
Normal check-in is from 4 pm. Out of peak season, early check-in of 2 pm may be available (at an additional fee). Please contact our office team to enquire.
Check-out during off-peak dates is by 10 am on the day of departure. During peak dates (school holidays) check-out is at 9 am.
£500 refundable damage deposit is due the week before your arrival. You will be contacted regarding this.
Travel cot and highchair are available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at the time of booking. Guests are to provide their own linen and mattress for the travel cot.
There is an 11 pm noise curfew on the estate.
There are 4 electric vehicle charging points on the estate that operate on a first come first use basis.
All our properties are non-smoking.
Somerford Lagoon Lake is closed from October – March due to nesting birds.
The outdoor Mill Village pool closes after the October half term and does not re-open until Easter.
The Miss Mouse Trail, run by the activity hub closes for the winter months. This is from 1st November to the Easter holidays.
Please be aware that there is no waterside access to Swillbrook Lake as this is a nature conservation lake.

Finding your Property
From the main entrance where the security hut is positioned drive through the gates and cross the first bridge. Take the first right turn you reach and go over the next two bridges in front of you. Just after the second bridge, the road will split off left and right. Please take the road on the right through the car park area and continue straight, ignoring the next left-hand turn. Continue on, and on both sides, you will see houses, follow the properties along until the end when you need to turn left, then also take the next left. Keep following the houses along by number until you reach number 44 (The Hideout) on your left-hand side.
To assist you during darker evenings, you would be advised to bring a torch with you as there is no street lighting permitted on the Estate other than low-level lighting.
