Lower Mill Estate

Lower Mill Estate, located in the Cotswolds, is a true jewel in the patchwork quilt landscape of England. The lakeside nature reserve is comprised of eight lakes, two rivers and miles of walking trails.

This stunning country estate celebrates unspoiled nature, beautiful wildlife and everything the great outdoors has to offer. Its woodlands and hedgerows are home to a diverse range of native wildlife.

Over 25 species of waterbirds can be seen on the lakes over Winter. Spring brings a huge range of breeding birds including Nightingale, Cuckoo and Cetti’s Warbler. House Martins arrive in April after an incredible journey from Africa and can be seen nesting on the houses. Walk through wildflower meadows in Summer and marvel at the diversity of brightly coloured damselflies and dragonflies around the lakes. Water voles can be seen on the rivers and otters use the lakes and rivers as well as regularly moving through the villages. Beavers can be seen at dusk on Flagham Fen.

Silverlake

Silverlake, located in Dorset, is a true jewel located in the environs of West Dorset. Formerly the site of RAF Warmwell, Silverlake is rich in history and offers a stunning space that celebrates unspoilt nature, beautiful wildlife and everything the great outdoors has to offer.

Its woodlands and hedgerows are home to a diverse range of native wildlife year-round, including Dartmoor ponies, Sika Deer, Otters and an incredible range of birds, including Dartford Warbler, Woodlark, Sand martins and Nightjar. In late summer the heathlands turn an amazing shade of purple, as the heathers comes into flower and the lakes teem with brightly coloured dragonflies and damselflies and in autumn, striking Starling murmurations form over the lakes and reedbeds.
