Overview

Woodsford is a visually impressive extended Skydeck Property, furnished in a classical British style with a modern twist to provide lavish comfort but maximise space for a large family or group. Large open plan living with sliding full size doors opening out onto an extended decking area furnished generously for Al-fresco eating with airy views of the lake through the child-safe glass balustrade. The ground floor double bedroom and adjacent wet room, with large shower, are designed to maximise accessibility .

Golf lovers please note the Putting Green on the roof and for the less energetic the Fat Boy rooftop viewing and relaxing area.

Wakeling Island is a brand new addition to Silverlake and Habitat Escapes!  As such, there are still properties and areas of the island that are undergoing final elements of construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, it is possible that you may see construction, machinery and workers on or around the island between 0730 and 1600, Monday to Friday.

We do not envisage that this will be too disruptive to your stay at Silverlake, but please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. Habitat Escapes and the Silverlake team will be doing all we can to ensure any disturbances are kept to a minimum. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Habitat Escapes Team.

This property also benefits from full access to the Activity Hub Membership (subject to completion of safety induction prior to arrival) included in the cost of the accommodation providing you with complimentary access to bikes, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards during your stay. For your own safety water sports equipment will be unavailable if the water temperature is below 12 degrees.

Please Note - Activity Hub Membership expires on 31/12/21 - all activities will be payable after this date

Please note there are no water based activities between November and February for health and safety reasons i.e. low water temperature, bikes will be available all year round.

The wooden floor entrance hall leads into the house with a very accessible double bedroom to your right with a large wet room and toilet directly opposite. Both have been designed to enable wheelchair access. A large utility room with a sink, washing machine, wall mounted clothes horse with further drying facilities in the fitted cupboards with ample hooks together with a full size freezer.

The open plan extremely light and spacious living area, incorporating a fully fitted kitchen with a full size fridge, oven, microwave oven, induction hob and dishwasher with breakfast bar and stools, dining table to seat 10 and a very inviting lounge area with wood burning stove to seat 10 opens out onto an extended decking area with tranquil views of the water. Electric shutters and curtains allow a more cosy feel at night when the Netflix and Sonos can be enjoyed to the full.

A fully carpeted staircase leads to the second floor. The King size Master bedroom with large en-suite shower room and balcony looking onto Wakeling Island Village. A further King Size double bedroom. Large family bathroom with overhead shower facility. Large bunk- house style children’s bedroom to sleep four. Stairs leading to Fat Boy relaxing terrace and Putting Green.

Ample parking is provided for a least four cars, with a wall mounted electric vehicle charge point ( type 27 kw) available at the property.

The decking outside the entrance holds a bike rack for four and a boot rack. The extended decking from the open plan living area is furnished generously to seat and dine ten with a charcoal BBQ. This area is child safe as is surrounded by a glass balustrade and safety gate separating the lawn running down to the water’s edge. The open air roof terrace accommodates an impressive Putting Green for Golf lovers and a relaxing/viewing area.

Use of Spa and indoor pool is included ( please contact the spa for opening times)

Travel cot and high chair available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at time of booking.
