With 4,500 sparkling attractions to see in the night sky, The Week has picked out some of the best stargazing spots in the UK and across the world.

We’re delighted that The Hide, at Lower Mill Estate (Cotswolds) which stands on stilts in total seclusion overlooking a 70-acre lake, has been selected as a perfect place to explore the wonders of the cosmos.
