Dawn Lighthouse is a pretty, coastal themed cottage that sleeps up to 10 people in five bedrooms (a pull out trundle bed is available for an additional child to sleep) A large first floor balcony together with an extensive ground floor deck complete with a hot tub, outdoor shower and barbeque makes this property just as perfect for alfresco living as it is for enjoying cosy nights in around the fire.
The property is wheelchair friendly with sloped, but level access to the front and rear entrances, and it also has a fully accessible bathroom, and bedroom, on the ground floor.
Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, heated outdoor pool and activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, subject to availability.
Also on site is a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack offering pizza and tapas. Opening hours can vary for both depending on the season.
Whilst this property is fully completed, there are some properties nearby that are undergoing construction in various phases. The prices for this property reflect this and bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you will be able to see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. The ground floor accommodation comprises a coastal blue themed open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, with access to a large outdoor deck, garden and hot tub through floor to ceiling patio doors. The dining section includes a table that seats up to 8 people.
The comfortable living area includes two large 3 seater sofas, two easy chairs and boasts a contemporary bio-ethanol fire and Smart TV.
Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and a wheelchair accessible shower room.
On the first floor are two superking bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and luxury ensuite shower rooms. These bedrooms both open out onto the extra large rear balcony which has two chairs for enjoying the morning sun. There are also two bunk rooms on the first floor, one of which includes a pull out trundle bed for guest sleepovers and there is a family bathroom with bath.
Outside there is a large wooden deck with dining for up to 12 people, a hot tub and an outdoor shower. A fenced garden completes the outside.
On the drive is an EV charging point which is available to guests to use for overnight charging of their vehicle.
Check in is from 4pm. Check out at 10am.
The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. A complimentary welcome pack that includes locally produced jam, teabags, two hot chocolate sachets, coffee, sugar sachets, biscuits and a pint of milk will be provided for your arrival as will a starter kitchen pack including a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, a teatowel, sponge and washing up liquid. One toilet roll per bathroom is also provided to ensure you are equipped on your first day.
Bed linen, and hand, and bath towels are also provided. If you suffer from allergies please contact the office for further information.
Kitchen appliances include an integrated dishwasher, 70/30 fridge freezer, Samsung induction hob, combi oven/microwave and full oven, 4 slice toaster and a bean to cup De Longhi Magnifica coffee machine. A washer/dryer is also available for guests' use.

Electric charging for vehicles (overnight charging only) is included with this property.

Travel cot and highchair available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at the time of booking. Guests to provide their own linen and mattress for a travel cot. The dimensions of the travel cot are: L101cm, H72cm and W71cm.

Finding your Property
After you pass through the two gates into Silverlake follow the road past the spa until you see a right turn signposted Sheppherd's view. From there follow the road around to the left where you will find Dawn Lighthouse on your left with parking to the right of the property.
