Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, heated outdoor pool and activity equipment is included with this property; offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes, e-bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards and canoes. Subject to availability.
Overton Island is a newly completed village at Silverlake. Whilst this property is fully completed, there are still properties on the island and wider Estate that are undergoing various elements of construction. You may see and hear construction between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. The versatile accommodation in this contemporary home provides space for 12 guests including a kids' bunk room sleeping 4, a super-king room with en-suite, and one sofa bed in the ground floor living area.
If you would like the sofa bed to be made up prior to your arrival please let our team know.
Completing the downstairs accommodation is the family bathroom (bath with shower over).
First Floor
As a bonus, this property has a second lounge area where you will be able to put your feet up in front of the fire and enjoy the views of Silverlake from the lounge and it's large balcony area. The spacious open-plan living space is light and welcoming with a fully kitted kitchen for you to entertain your family. Completing the first floor is a king room with a separate shower room and toilet.
Second Floor
The second floor provides a further super-king room and a large en-suite shower room. Please request this prior to arrival.
Outside
One of the best features of this property is it's large decking area. This is the perfect spot for cocktails in the evening while you sit back, relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets.
The back decking leads up to your own private jetty providing you with easy lake access to explore the best our nature reserve has to offer from the water.

As we take pride in fully preparing each hot tub for every each guest stay, please note that the water may not be up to temperature by the time you arrive on site, but rest assured, that the water will be blissfully warm and enjoyable within 24 hours of your arrival on-site.

The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. The property has a BBQ with gas provided.
Essentials such as bin liners, dishwasher tablets and basic cleaning supplies are provided for you. Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided, if you suffer from allergies please contact the office for further information.

Finding your Property
Your property is located on Overton Island which is accessed through Wakeling Island. After driving through Wakeling Island take the bridge over to Overton Island, follow the road around to the right and this property will be on your right, 'Drake's Rest.' There is plenty of parking directly outside your property for you and any guests arriving with you.
