Wakeling Island is a recent addition to Silverlake and Habitat Escapes. As such, there is a large part of the island and many nearby properties that are undergoing construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, you will see and hear construction, machinery, and workers on or around the island between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Habitat Escapes Team.
As you enter The Great Escape on the ground floor, a spacious and wide corridor guides you past the office/games room where you are greeted with a light and spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Floor to ceiling bi-fold doors lead out onto the rear deck with views across the Estate. The kitchen is ideally set up for social gatherings with the hob situated on the central island looking into the living area, with a wood burning stove and large TV for those cosy film nights.
On the first floor at the front of the property there is a double bedroom with balcony looking out over Wakeling island and benefiting from its own ensuite shower room. Along the spacious landing is a twin room and a double bunk room (sleeping four) with the large family bathroom next door ideal for larger families or groups! At the rear of the property is the master bedroom and ensuite, also with a balcony looking out over the water and Silverlake estate.
The property also benefits from a roof top terrace offering 360-degree views across Wakeling Island and the wider estate, with plenty of outdoor furniture, making this the perfect spot to watch Silverlake come to life with a coffee, or to unwind with a Sundowner!
Check in is from 4pm. Check out at 10am.
The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. There is a gas BBQ at the property for guest use.
Essentials such as bin liners, dishwasher tablets and basic cleaning supplies are provided for you. Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided, if you suffer from allergies please contact the office for further information.
