This 4-bed holiday home is the perfect retreat for your family to have a peaceful stay near sleepy Dorset villages.

This stylish 4-bed property with Scandinavian design touches and a high specification of fixtures and fittings throughout makes the perfect holiday home. Settle into the peaceful serenity of the open-plan and cosy ground-floor living area with the added benefit of a recessed log burner.

Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, heated outdoor pool and activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset.  Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, subject to availability.  

Also on site is a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack offering pizza and tapas.  Opening hours can vary for both depending on the season.   

Overton Island is a newly completed village at Silverlake. Whilst this property is fully completed, there are still properties on the island and wider Estate that are undergoing various elements of construction. You may see and hear construction between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday.  Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. The ground floor incorporates a modern, open-plan kitchen with bar seating providing the perfect link to both the dining and living areas. Making evenings cosy couldn't be easier with the log fire as a central feature of the living room. The sleek and modern kitchen area has a range of built-in appliances including integrated hob with extractor while the dining area provides ample space for eight diners. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead onto the rear full-width deck and west-facing garden space. The perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the lakes, heathland and all that the Estate has to offer. A downstairs WC with a utility cupboard housing a washer/dryer completes the ground floor accommodation.

On the first floor, the bright and spacious bedrooms which include three doubles and a single with bunk beds are located on the first floor. Two of the doubles have access to the first-floor balcony; the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. They both have the added benefit of large en-suites and a family bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor.

Outside, the rear decking leads onto a west-facing lawn and the property also benefits from a gravelled driveway at the back of the property that leads to the back entrance. 

Check in is from 4pm. Check out at 10am.

The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.

Essentials such as bin liners, dishwasher tablets and basic cleaning supplies are provided for you. Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided, if you suffer from allergies please contact the office for further information.

Pets are permitted in this property for a small surcharge.

Travel cot and highchair available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at the time of booking. Guest to provide their own linen and mattress for a travel cot.

Finding your Property
Your property is located on Overton Island which is accessed through Wakeling Island. After driving through Wakeling Island you will go over the bridge into Overton Island to follow the road around to come to The Nook
