Overview

Ewen House is set in a traffic-free location within the water garden in Mill Village, built in a traditional Cotswold style. The property comprises open-plan ground floor living with four bedrooms to the first floor sleeping 7 guests in total.  The property has two enclosed decking areas and is pet-friendly, ideal for those who want to take man’s best friend away with them! Ewen House is one of only a handful of properties within Mill Village to benefit from access to the onsite Spa facilities.

Good range of units with built-in dishwasher, fridge/freezer and single oven with gas hob opening to dining area with table and chairs dining six. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and a utility cupboard housing a washing machine.

Living area with wood-burning stove, seating for seven. Dual-aspect room with double doors leading onto front and rear enclosed balconies.

Master king bedroom with matching bedside tables, wardrobe, opening doors to Juliet balcony. En-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Further double bedroom with bedside tall storage units, doors opening to Juliette balcony and en-suite comprising of WC and wash basin. Bunk room and further single bedroom. Family bathroom with shower over bath.

A lovely feature of the property is the enclosed decking to the front of the property benefiting from views over the water garden, garden table and chairs. There is a second area of enclosed decking to the rear, suitable for storing bicycles. BBQ. One allocated parking space, additional cars are to use the overflow car park Mill Village.

Bath, hand and tea towels provided as well as bed linen, bin liners and dishwasher tablets.

Property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery

Spa use included (contact Spa directly for opening times). Pool towels can be rented from the Spa, please contact the Spa directly to arrange this. (01285 862640)

On-site restaurant and small market shop with seasonal opening hours. Availability can book up in peak weeks so contact Ballihoo prior to arrival to not miss out. (01285 840181)

Not all properties have lake access even though they are listed as lakeside. If you are unsure on whether this property has lake access please check with our team.

Please be aware that the vegetation surrounding the property is subject to change according to the time of year. This may mean that the views represented in the photos above may vary depending on the season in which you stay with us.

Normal check-in is from 4pm. Out of peak season early check-in of 2pm may be available (at an additional fee). Please contact our office team to enquire.

£500 refundable damage deposit is due the week before your arrival. You will be contacted regarding this.

Travel cot and highchair available for £10, subject to availability. Please advise at time of booking. Guests to provide own linen and mattress for travel cot.

There is an 11pm noise curfew on the estate.

There are 3 electric vehicle charging points on the estate that operate on a first come first use basis.

All our properties are non-smoking.

 

Seasonal Closures

Somerford Lagoon Lake is closed from October – March due to nesting birds. The nearest canoe launch point is located near to Mill Village as marked on the Estate Map.

The Somerford Nines (Clearwater 1-9). The private outdoor pool closes after the October half term and does not re-open until Easter.

The outdoor Mill Village pool closes after the October half term and does not re-open until Easter.

The Miss Mouse Trail, run by the activity hub closes for the winter months. This is from 1st November to the Easter holidays.
